Sri Lanka keen to invest in infrastructures, education

Kathmandu, Aug 22: Newly appointed Sri Lankan Ambassador to Nepal, WS Pereira, has said Sri Lanka was interested in investing in the sectors of infrastructures and education.

Ambassador Pereira said this during a programme organized by Nepal Chamber of Commerce in her honour in the capital city on Monday.

On the occasion, the newly-appointed Sri Lankan ambassador said she was always ready to expand the economic, social and cultural relations between Nepal and Sri Lanka. For expanding economic relations between the two countries, private sectors could play important role, she argued.
