PJ Club calls for application for 5th edition of Nepal Photo Contest - 2073

Kathmandu, June 30: The Photo Journalists Club (PJ Club) here on Thursday announced the 5th edition of Nepal Photo Contest - 2073 and has called for application from both, professional and amateur Nepali photographers.

The Contest which was called off last year due to Gorkha Earthquake seeks submission of photos in various seven categories and within midnight of July 5 this year.

The winners will be declared on July 27, according to Bikash Karki, Chairperson of PJ Club.

The exhibition of the best 160 photos will be organized in Nepal Art Council from August 31 and various five other towns outside of the Kathmandu Valley, Karki shared.

The winner of the IME Photo of the Year will take home Rs 100,000 while the winners of seven each categories will be award Rs 30,000 and second and third winner will receive Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000 each.

The aspiring candidates can submit their photos under Ghumphir Culture and Tourism Nepal, Nepal Telecom Nature and Wildlife, IMS Daily Life, Agrakhanchi Cement News Photo Shikar Insurance Nepal Smile, Model Global Visa Consultancy Sports and Photo Story and in online through www.pjclub.com.np
