Modernization in education must: Minister Poudel

Pathari (Morang), Jan 1: Minister for Education, Dhaniram Poudel, has said the government has been preparing for modernizing education by displacing the traditional teaching methodology.

Inaugurating the general assembly of Birat Bahira Secondary School at Biratnagar and launched a website on Sunday, Minister Poudel said that it was necessary to modernize education as the existing teaching methodology was not getting outdated.

According to him, the teaching methodology should focus on uplifting livelihood and producing capable human resources.

The Education Minister said that the government was committed to ensuring the access of differently-abled children to education and constructing disabled-friendly educational structures and policy.
