Microwave radio link accessible nationwide

Kathmandu, Aug 22: Nepal Telecom has extended the accessibility to microwave radio link to all 75 districts across the country. Company spokesperson Prativa Baidya said the microwave radio link network is available nationwide.

The company has been providing services through this technology since August 20. The satellite technology-based communication system especially in Mugu, Humla and Dolpa was facing various difficulties.

The company claimed that there will be noticeable improvement in landline, GSM, CDMA telephone services and ADSL, 2G and EVDO internet services with the extension of microwave radio link network, the Company said in a statement. Customers of Karnali are expected to benefit the most from the expansion of the network.
