Information minister Karki emphasises need to bring reforms in educational sector

Kathmandu, Nov 20: Minister for Information and Communications Surendra Kumar Karki today stressed the need for carrying out reforms in educational system to make students creative.

"The foundation of student is primary-level education. Students should be made creative instead of making them failure," the minister said. He was launching a book entitled 'Balmaitri' authored by Rabiraj Basaula at a programme in the Capital.

Also on the occasion, taking his view on the newly launched book, secretary at the ministry Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya viewed that the book will prove to be beneficial in creating children-friendly society. 
Authors like Binaya Kasaju and Gita Tripathi have taken the book as an important creation to expose problems of society facing children.
