Call to take action against culprits behind Taukhel school tragedy

Kathmandu, July 5: National Campaign for Education, Nepal has demanded action against the culprits behind a tragic incident took place at Taukhel-based Pushpanjali Secondary School in Lalitpur.

In a press statement, the network of 286 non-government organisations working in the sector of education, has demanded a probe into the incident and action against those found guilty of it.

Two girl students Kripa Rai and Anjana Pun were killed and 24 others were injured in the school's compound wall collapse last Friday.

The organisation has wished for speedy recovery of the injured.
